What is CEDAR?

Cross-cultural Education through Demonstration, Activity and Recreation provides fun learning opportunities, in a culturally relevant context, to help Indigenous undergraduate science students and youth develop a comfortable relationship with the UBC campus and the UBC Indigenous community.

Since 2005, CEDAR has supported scientific learning for Indigenous youth on the UBC Vancouver Campus. In the many years that CEDAR has been running, hundreds of Indigenous youth have come to the Musqueam campus, with several participants returning as students in a variety of degree programs.
