Registration – An Indigenous Astronaut Comes to UBC

On March 19th, 2019, Cedar will be hosting Dr. John Herrington, an Indigenous Astronaut, at the UBC Longhouse. This event will be held in partnership with the Faculties of Science, Land and Food Systems, and Applied Science; The First Nations House of Learning; and the UBC Chapter of the Canadian Indigenous Science and Engineering Society.  We are inviting Indigenous youth from around the lower mainland to attend this event. The day will consist of some exciting STEM based-activities and a chance to meet Dr. Herrington and hear his inspiring message for young Indigenous students. If you are interested in attending this day please fill out the form below. There are a limited number of spaces available and registration will only be open until the seats are filled. Completion of this form will not guarantee a spot for this event.

    We will be providing transportation from Britannia Secondary School to UBC at 8:30 am on March 19th. Parents wishing to drop off youth at the UBC Longhouse should do so at 9:30 am.
